A Dachshund Will Eat It! SITE BEING UPDATED I was not sure what "too many dogs" was. Daisy was rescued from a dog hoarder. She was a "tiny little thing" that tipped the scale on intake at a whopping 15 lbs. She was so fat we nick named her "The Little Fat One." Her tittles drug the ground and she was the only dog in the world that I had ever seen with fat ankles and large cushioned foot pads. Every once in a while, I meet a dog that reminds me of one of my own dogs that has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Daisy Mae is one of those dogs. We lost a long time family pet (Daisy, another rescue doggy) in 2010 to old age- a ripe 17 years old! Her death hit my son the hardest because he was not able to say good-bye to her as he was away at the time she passed and was buried. Perhaps the most interesting fact about Daisy is that, except for being a Dachshund and not a Spaniel, she mimics our other Daisy almost identically. |
